 | Josh Nicholls Position: C,Shoots: R, Height: 6'2", Weight: 172 lbs, Birthyear: 1992-04-27, Birthplace: Delta, BC, Drafted: 2010 round 7 #182 overall Talent Analysis An interesting combination of size and speed, Nicholls is a two-way forward who displays some offensive upside. He can lineup both at center and on the right-wing. Very thin at the moment being only 172lbs and 6’2 so weight will be a priority over the next two seasons. Not a physical force, but forechecks well. Plays on the PK for Saskatoon and will likely be that type of player at the pro level. Future Outlook A long-term project with intriguing upside, Nicholls will spend the next two seasons in the WHL growing into his frame and continuing to develop his two-way game. Nicholls will have the opportunity to take a prominent offensive role with Saskatoon next year as their two leading scorers no longer have junior eligibility. |
